About the show

John is a student of Religion, Theology, Biblical Studies, and Classical Studies, as well as a filmmaker. Through studying world religions, history and philosophy, he has become a well-balanced teacher, speaker, presenter, and advocate of Christianity. His attempts at engaging in civil dialogue with non-believers have been appreciated in debating the existence of God, historical Christianity, and the competency of the Christian faith. After spending many years in the Creative and Internet industries, John decided to use his skills in directing and producing the documentary movie My Week in Atheism. This film is an up-close encounter with modern atheism in an attempt to learn while focusing on the reality of two opposing worldviews with his friend, and atheist talk show host, David Smalley.

John is currently in the process of completing a Master’s degree in Christian & Classical Studies (Knox Theological Seminary), he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion, minor in Biblical Studies (Liberty University), and an Associate’s degree in Practical Theology (Christ For the Nations Institute). He is also a member of the academic Society of Biblical Literature, and American Academy of Religion.

John is available for speaking engagements as well as debates, feel free to contact him for more information or feedback on the show.

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

Is The Bible 100% True?

The literary form of Genesis alone leans toward poetic more than historic. That doesn’t mean it isn’t history, it’s just very well told history through a poetic form, and not a point-by-point historical reference book.
